Job Description

General Purpose

Lead the development and execution of strategic marketing plans for all RV Resorts. These plans and initiatives are to maximize profitability in order to achieve budget revenue numbers and site nite goals. 

 

Essential Duties

 

1.         Developing and implementing plans for RV Resort positioning to include overall media plan, public relations plan, web site, promotions plan and community involvement to increase revenues and company brand recognition.

2.         Develop an annual budget for all marketing, sales and promotional items for each resort.

3.         Develop strategies by Market Segment and Revenue Category.

4.         Manage tactical action plans for each resort sales staff.

5.         Represent the RV Resorts in local events, civic organizations, community activities and industry activities.

6.         Create and organize all Trade Show material and resort collateral.

7.         Assist the Resorts in the development, implementation and achievement of their individual business and market plan objectives on an annual basis.

8.         Input and retrieve information from computer system for the forecasting marketing and sales trends.

9.         Responsible for the overall development and management of brand marketing plans for each RV Resort destination.

10.    Manage and direct consumer marketing/sales process, develop and manage the advertising and distribution of marketing materials.

11.    Develop a program to train Sun employees on the Sun RV Resort telephone techniques to assist all guests in their reservations and stays at the resorts.

12.    Implement training specific to each RV Resort to assist Managers in assuring a Guest First Program.

13.    Implement programs to increase and build our Foreign, Rally and Off-season business each year.

14.    Provide written reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis on RV results.

15.    Other duties as assigned.

Education

Minimum Education/Experience Required:

Bachelor Degree with three to five years marketing and or sales management experience, preferably in an RV Resort or hospitality industry.
